The Good Stuff; Bacteria that are good for you.....

There are approximately 1 trillion microbes in your belly.  Some release toxins that cause colitis, cancer, asthma, bowel disease, bloating, gas, constipation & diarrhea.  However, there are good bacteria that counteract the bad bacteria and protect you from disease and illness. You can win the battle of the bugs in your belly by eating some good bacteria known as "probiotics".  Probiotics can be found in yogurt, pickled beets, sourdough breads, sauerkraut, aged cheese, asparagus, beans, bananas, onions, tomatoes, berries, garlic, and whole grains.  Starve the bad and feed the good.  Especially in this summer rich environment of so many fresh fruit and veggie choices-Enjoy and stay healthy.

Probiotics, or what we call the good bacteria, are bacterias which naturally reside in our body. They can be very beneficial for our health because they are the one responsible in helping us digest and extract all the necessary nutrients we need from the food we eat.
