How long is the average doctor's appointment?
Posted on Saturday, July 13, 2013 8:32 PM
According to the National Ambulatory Medical Care Study, the new average appointment time is a mere 13 minutes. That's 13 minutes to discuss your symptoms, have the doctor examine you, discuss a treatment plan as well as any options or new additions to your medical status. It is helpful to make a list of concerns prior to your appointment. Avoid idle chit chat and direct the conversation to the problems you need addressed, Be specific about your needs and your expectations. Press for any options available as well as potential side effects to medications or treatments prescribed. Being prepared maximizes your visit time and increases the success of your treatment. Call Nurse Concierge if you need someone to accompany you to your visit and orchestrate your care.

I have been surfing on-line more than three hours these days, but I by no means found any interesting article like yours. It' pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you probably did, the web will likely be a lot more helpful than ever before.

I think that the time is pretty less as some people can't explain the symptoms in the meantime. For some this time is way enough but some people struggle to explain their disease in said time.
